While there's so much history behind waist beads, it's generally agreed that the existence of waist beads dates back to antiquity, as far back as the 15th century. - Weight management- The tighter your waist beads feel generally signify weight gain and hence the looser your waist beads feel, generally signify weight loss.
- Self expression- the use of colours also allows the wearer to truly express themselves.
